    About David Lawson

David Lawson is a Licensed Professional Counselor offering an alternative approach to traditional therapy.  Fueled by a strong sense of curiosity emboldened since youthful exploration on his grandfather’s farm, David has always felt the pull of the wild and the natural world.

His rural upbringing laid the foundation for a lifetime of adventure, and it’s this connection to nature that is woven into his therapeutic practice.

Throughout 24 years of marriage, and and the experience of raising three adult children, David has successfully navigated numerous challenges, both personal and professional. Recognizing that traditional in-office therapy might not resonate with everyone, he took a bold step by incorporating nature into the therapy activities of his private practice. Whether it’s a reflective hike in the Grand Canyon or a quiet moment in a local park, David utilizes the healing aspects of nature to help his clients find balance and peace.

Aside from his therapeutic work with clients, David enjoys other activities that challenge the mind and offer a change from the daily grind. He’s an avid golfer, enjoying the game’s blend of skill, strategy, and of course, the great outdoors.

David Lawson’s Wild Wellness practice is more than just a counseling service; it’s a testament to how personal experiences can shape professional pursuits. His approach is innovative, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that sometimes the best therapy room has no walls, and that oneness with the natural world does heal the human spirit. other than the sky as its ceiling.
